A poem by Nessa the Fairy

When I close my eyes I see

A world I love most gleefully

Of fairies bright and mermaids shy

And dragons flying in the sky

Of unicorns prancing in the sun

And angels watching all the fun

Of big old trees with friendly faces

Talking to wizards from mysterious places

And in the background I can hear

The sounds of a river cool and clear

Where butterflies and frogs cavort

And beauty abounds of every sort

And everywhere I look I find

More magic in this place of mine

And when my daydream ends I’ll know

The magic lives on within my soul.
