About Us

Magical Realms Children’s Entertainment has been created to bring the enchantment of the Magical Realms to your child so that they will have a magical birthday experience that they will remember for a lifetime.

We specialise in magically themed mobile birthday parties, with our fabulously costumed hosts and a range of party activities to suit most tastes – such as face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon modelling, games and activities, puppets and storytelling.

Our most popular party packages are designed for 3 year olds and upwards, however we also have packages for tweens, teens and even adults.

We can also cater for charity, community and corporate groups and events.

All of our entertainers are covered by Public Liability Insurance, and are selected for their love of children and magical creatures and sense of fun!

Nessa the Fairy

Magical Realms Children's Entertainment was created in 2007 by Nessa the Fairy, who has been fluttering between parties and events ever since. Nessa has been to over 160 parties over the last two years, as well as providing school holiday entertainment to The Marketplace in Gungahlin, Kippax Fair Shopping Centre and the ACT Public Library Service. Nessa also loves to visit the children at Camp Quality when possible. Nessa is our face painter and storyteller, and also runs games and activities, applies glitter tattoos and can tie balloons.

Nessa the Fairy comes from Butterfly Valley in the Magical Realms, where she has a number of friends such as Penelope and Falkor the Dragons, Dapple the Wolf, Pompernel the Peacock, Ramses the Ram, Glitter and Sparkle the Fairies and many more, who like to come to parties and meet the children. She is a very clever fairy that can turn into a mermaid, a pirate, a witch, a princess and many other magical creatures.

Fairy Elise

Fairy Elise is a quiet and gentle blue fairy who occasionally likes to be a pirate. She applies lovely glitter tattoos and also likes to play games and tie balloons.

Fairy Elise is fairly new to the party business, having just finished Fairy Training School. She has previously worked in Fairy childcare centres in the Magical Realms and is now preparing to further her education, while playing with the little fairies and pirates on the weekends!

Fairy Sarah

Fairy Sarah has been coming to parties for nearly a year, and is very good with her balloon modelling. She has assisted Nessa at Kippax Fair and The Marketplace on occasion. She also loves to apply beautiful glitter tattoos and play games with the children. Having lots of little brothers and a sister, our green fairy is great at entertaining! She is pretty handy with a pirate sword too.

Fairy Danicia

Fairy Dani is a natural birthday fairy - she loves playing with the children and is great at doing fairy and pirate craft. Fairy Dani is a pink and purple fairy but makes a beautiful pirate as well!

Fairy Hayley

Fairy Hayley is also quite new to birthday parties, but she loves helping out her very best friend Fairy Sarah and playing with the children together! Fairy Hayley is our pink and purple fairy, and also likes to play the pirate sometimes.
